We are delighted to announce that we have secured highly acclaimed, Derwent as a sponsor for a new tv series – Arts Unknown – an off the beaten track approach to discovering contemporary art and culture.
Arts Unknown is the brainchild of Tina Ziegler of Moniker and Calum Hall of Creative Debuts.
The Arts Unknown series aims to document, introduce and showcase artists, curators and galleries from the new contemporary art movement.
The inaugural Arts Unknown film is currently being shot in London with Miami due to feature next in the new year. Derwent will contribute their art materials across the new tv series, with their sponsorship featuring product and logo placement, with mentions across social media channels and all websites associated with the series. Derwent’s mission is to delight Artists and inspire them to keep discovering, so this partnership is the perfect fit.
Arts Unknown aims to entertain and educate, by opening-up conversations with some of today’s creative visionaries and offer insights into how they work, they think and how they live. Videos and interviews will profile key artists in cities, galleries within each city and take viewers on a street art tour through the city’s urban spaces.
Tina Ziegler, of Moniker explains:
“We hope to document the growing and ever popular new contemporary art movement, while being a platform to discover talent and understand the many opportunities there are for working within the arts either as a curator, artist or dealer. We hope to expand people’s understanding of the art market and help engage new creatives by taking them on a tour of creative cities around the world.
We are delighted to be working with Reg&Co and know that Karen and her experienced team will continue to support us, as they have already done so, by securing Derwent as our first sponsor. We are excited to have Derwent on board ahead of filming our pilot show in London this month, and we look forward to leveraging this sponsorship over the Arts Unknown series.”
Arts Unknown will give the insiders view, not the tourist view, of street art in each city and the creatives leading the way in this space. The first pilot show in London will feature artists:
