JM Finn has announced an Art Fair partnership with the Affordable Art Fair, Battersea marking the 20th anniversary of their very first fair. The deal was brokered by sponsorship agency Reg&Co.
For the last 20 years, the Affordable Art Fair has been making contemporary art accessible to everyone. Conceived in Battersea, London in 1999 by Will Ramsay, the fairs are now present in 10 cities globally and have been visited by 2.5 million people who have taken home over 485,00 pieces of artwork.
Battersea now hosts two fairs a year with the upcoming edition expected to attract over 18,000 visitors all looking to buy from over 100 galleries. Art Fair Partnerships enables art fairs to grow their audiences and provide a greater depth of reach to people who may have not experienced the Affordable Art Fair before.
Oliver Tregoning, Head of Marketing at JM Finn commented: “Partnering with such an established brand as the Affordable Art Fair is tremendously exciting for us. With a shared vision of making our services accessible to a wider audience, we look forward to working with AAF to make this, their 20th anniversary, an engaging and interesting experience for all art lovers, whether first-time buyers or established collectors of contemporary art.”
Will Ramsay, Founder, says: “In 1999, I opened the doors to the very first Affordable Art Fair, showcasing works priced between £50 – £2,500 from a pool of over 150 relatively unknown artists. Over the past two decades, each fair has developed its own distinct character and offers a diverse range to suit all tastes, styles and wallets. What remains constant is the emphasis on accessibility, education and innovation, to ensure a fun day out surrounded by great, affordable art is had by all! Thrilled to have JM Finn as our partner for our 20th anniversary fair.”
